Rain Rain Stay and Play

We had a storm that lasted maybe 30 minutes but dropped a lot of rain so the girls quickly put on their gear and went out to float some boats. But mom and dad took a little too long making the boats... so they didn't ride too well.....
Shawyna didn't seem to mind too much, she had her juice in hand and it was all good
Kelanie on the other hand was a little distraught becasue her boat wasn't working
Maybe next time little sport
Vidal was happy for the little bit of rain so he could pull some of the crab grass that is creeping into our yard

Happy endings to a fun day!

We were proud of the girls for surviving our little adventure, and they were very excited about it too!!
Kelanie has been talking about climbing big rocks with daddy for quite some time now so, Kelanie and ShaSha both took off their shoes and climbed this rock by themselves and were proud to sit on top with daddy! It was a great end to a great adventure... and they both slept the whole 2 hour car ride home which was a bonus for us :)

Climbing into a cave

We saw this cave on the way down the path and decided to take a detour....
It was a steep walk up but we all made it, there were birds living in some of the holes, and perhaps some bats.
Taking in the view
We decided that the view looking down was a little scarier than the view looking up.... but we smiled for a photo before we headed down
Then we slowly made our steep way down ..... luckily we all made it down without any accidents :)

Adventure

Still at shoshone falls we decided to take the less traveled path, so we could have as Kelanie put it "a family adventure with our whole family" Todavia en La catarata de Shoshone decidimos a tomar el camino menos caminado... Kelanie dijo "vamos en una aventura toda la familia"
The girls looked with Vidal to see what was living in a little hole... but the little guy wasn't home (probably better for us all :) Buscando que animal vivia en un huecio no estaba en casa, creo que mejor para todos :)
The lion ready to pounce...... El leon Vidal

The view from the lion's perch :)

Shoshone Falls

Record high waters made for a beautiful view. Habia mas agua que normal fue espectacular

Vidal..... Pura Vida
Happy Family.....

Kelanie and Shawnya fighting over who got to look through the binoculars..... little did they know you have to put money in it for it to work.... they stopped fighting over it when they found out you couldn't see anything haha

Twin Falls Idaho

We went to Twin for a family reunion and stopped by to see the canyon. Fuimos a una reuion de familia y paramos a ver un canyon en camino.
Kelanie is getting so big. Kelanie esta creciendo tan rapido!
Princess Sha Sha....
It was kind of scary to stand here because we climbed through the barbed wire fence to get there and there was a cross remembering someone how had died there, so I was holding on to the girls really tight. But it was a beautiful view. Tenia miedo de estar aqui porque nos metimos a la fuerza por una cerca de puas, tambien habia una cruz recordando a alguien quien se murio aqui. Tenia las ninas de las manos bien fuertes..... Pero fue una vista bien hermosa.
Our babies.... :)

Garden update!

Kelanie looking at the bees.
The garden is growing.... after all the efforts since the seeds in the garage in February!
Our first squash... we are so proud!
Lettuce, and broccoli growing growing

Flowers from the garden..... the colors went perfectly in the kitchen.....

Pina had puppies!!

Pina, the proud mommy of 3
this was a photo of one of the pups on day 2
And 2 weeks later, here they are nice and chubby happy as can be
so cute!

You can see just how chubby they next to Sha Sha's little hands

Summer is here....

We had a swarm of bees on our front tree, it was quite the site and a little scary.... until we did a little research and found out they were temporarily there, as fast as they came they left.
Sparkey ran away, so welcome KiKi to the family, she is a lot more mellow and loves to cuddle.
Little wonders of the world, Shawnya was exploring the flowers smelling each one, even trying to open some to see if they smelled the same hahaha what a sweetie!
Kelanie stopped to smell the flowers as well....
These flowers are a delight to look at so I thought I would share them with you.

A glorious occasion!!

At the rehearsal dinner... good times!
The beautiful couple, blowing out their candle, they look so wonderful together!
Daddy enjoying a dance with his daughter.
Blowing away during the car ride home, I wish that this was a video so the contagious laughter could infect everyone who sees this!
Two very tired Sandi's....... We got home from a 5 hour drive from the wedding and hosted a birthday party big ol 25 for McKenzie .... we still had guests over but Vidal and Shawnya couldn't stay awake any longer.... so sweet.
